BDT now offers DLC and ETL Listed LED Lighting System Technology for a full selection of luminaires. With the fixture comes a 5 year warranty provided by the manufacturer. The new technology is available in most of our fixtures including High Bay, Parking Structure, Stairwell, Strip, and Clean Room! Fixtures and LED Lamps are sold separately.

As part of cutting energy waste and doubling energy productivity by 2030, the Energy Department today announced nearly $10 million to support research, development, and manufacturing of solid-state lighting (SSL) technologies across the country. Riverside Public Utilities offers customers incentives when they replace older, inefficient lighting with the most energy-efficient fixtures available. And now, they are expanding this incentive program to include day-lighting and occupancy sensors, along with solar tubes and sky lighting.

Here’s how the program works:
To greater incentivize the use of new lighting technologies, the new tiered system offers three increasing levels of incentives:
Level 1
$0.06 per kWh saved using standard energy efficiency lighting fixture replacements
Level 2
$0.08 per kWh saved for projects that incorporate all of the following:
